On a special note. It won't be so lenient the next time as I will be invigilating the test. So be prepared for a stricter test coming this Aug/Sept.

It a new year. and do you think that there is any difference between last year and this year?
Let me tell you. NOT MUCH DIFFERENT!.
you might want to recap how is your previous life and now? did u regret of not changing?

LET me give u some points to improve on :
1) team bonding. - there are too many individual groups in each squad! instead you all should communicate with one another. try organize a outing among yourself rather than what you all have during training or camps.

2) encouragement. - like when comes to PT or things that a person cannot do. As a unit, try to help your friends! motivate them! as a person being motivated, he/she will definitely feel touched and want to do it better ( eg. just now during PT, zhihao got motivated. and i did ask him for his feeling after that.) CHEER for others when it is necessary.

3) Attitude!. - do what is right at the right time. Example : during a drill training. always take note what you should do and not to do. don't be selfish that you keep caring about yourself and drag other down. ONLY move, talk or give comment at the right time.

4) Endure!. - 21/1/2009. i believe that today is a hot day and you guys cannot take it for the push up. instead of complain, why don't just do and faster end. this is not only just for punishment but also TEACH you do the right things. since OTHERS can do it, why not you too. RATHER than dragging the rest down also.

5) set a good role model - instead of having the same attitude like last year, why don't set a good role model for your sec 1? i believe you all were once like them, playing and fooling around. but why don't let your action and impress them? creating history so that when they become a leader, they will use you as a good role model and impart the skills down.

I BELIEVE THAT ALL OF YOU CAN TO IT. PROVE ME WRONG PLEASE!

Firstly, i would like to apologize for any harsh words being used in the previous post. but then again, i m not saying it for fun. I do hope you people take this as a serious matter.

Uniform is part of NPCC. it is just like you are wearing school uniform. Why we wear school uniform? coz it is a sense of identity to others. Likewise, for NPCC, we do the same. Did you ever go to teacher and tell them, Miss/Mr. XX can i dont wear school uniform today? No rite?

i hope all of you understand that, NPCC uniform is almost the same as Police uniform. That's why when you don on it you must feel proud of yourself. This is too another reason why we want you people to iron your uniform to tip top. Let me bring you thru another example, do you go for job interview with your formal not iron? no rite? it will gives others a bad impression about you. So when you didnt iron your uniform to tip top, it is the same, it gives other a bad impression that you can only go sloppy drills and what is worst is that you give other a bad impression like. "OMG! NPCC is like tt one ar?" if they really ask this, do you feel proud in NPCC?

We, the CIs, have gone thru many of this thing and can said that we are an experience cadet now. Still remember i ask why you all join npcc? what is the reason behind it for joining?

Some of you said, for CCA points, to learn this to learn that. But before you wan to learn did you put it into action? did you make an effort to learn it? ask urself now.

I remember, dont mind me if i point out names here, Pei Fen told me in MSN that she envy the rank of a CI and wan to get it. It is good to have this thots in your mind, this shows u r futurelistic. But then again, If you all wan to acheive this rank, uniform and other stuffs that is required to bring you must remember to bring. That is the most basic thing, if you didnt even have the sense of responsibility to remind yourself to do this and to do that, then wat for u plan so far ahead rite?

It is really disheartned to see you people get scolded by us so many times. We scold not for the sake of scolding, or for fun. But all CIs scold is hope to achieve a common goal, which is to allow you people to learn from mistake. Next training, there will be an evaluation session whereby you people will evaluate the just step up Cadet Leader, your squadmate and lastly the CIs. We do this is to change for the better. Even CIs are seeking to change for the better, as we know nothing is perfect, if it is not perfect then it is our job to make it perfect.

Like i say, quit is one method to get away with this hectic CCA, but think about it you are avoiding it. Girls, when you go out to work, u will get the same thing too. Nothing is going to go smoothly as you plan, you have bosses on top to guide you, scold u, but wat to do? you only can follow. We are now training you people to get use of the society life next time. For guys, remember you still have army? if you cant endure this little bit, then i think when you go army you will not even able to adapt to the life.

So i hope you people to understand. The only thing that remain unchange in the world is change. get it? So now, let's get out of your own comfort zone, prepare more challenges that bring on to you in NPCC.

guys, hope that not because of this punishment then make you guys don't feel like coming to npcc. everything that we do is all for your own good. we do punish you for the sake of punishing but also we will like to enhance your own responsibility too. you guys can make a effort to come training, why don't make another extra effort to bring your uniform / pt kit to training too? if you all don't know what is the attire, you can call either your friends or just bring half uniform and pt kit to training. this is the solution for you guys. we do not want you guys to be the black sheep among the whole squad and make all of them suffer.
we CIs also have a kind side. but if u mistreat it, we can show you the evil side of us. so it is your choice whether u want to enjoy during the training or suffer in it.
lastly, CCA is really very important. it made a very great difference for your olevel too. if you don't believe you can ask all your seniors. i don't want you all to end up regretting too. like what kokhao sir said. if you have doubt asking us in studies, just feel free to do so.

Remember what i said during the training on Saturay?

Girls remember to bring you hairnet

Guys and Girls are to iron your pants, skirts shirt (basically all the uniform parts your are wearing)

And also to coat your boats

On polishing your boots, let me teach you all how i do
Items needed
First you need to buy "kiwi" Solid one...dun buy liquid 1 we do not approve it
Second, get a cloth (which you dun wan )
Next get some newpaper or something (to protect your floor from getting dirty

Steps
1. Layout the newpaper on the area you are using to coat your boots
2. To start coating your boot, put a little water on your cloth
3. Take a little kiwi from the tin(the small round thing...dunno what to call it..and take a little like go round on the surface of it 4 or 5 is enough)
4. then on the use the part of the cloth where u used to touch the kiwi to go over your boots.
5. repeat steps 3 and 4 to all parts of your boots.
6. after coating each layer, give it afew mins to let it dry a little(for the whole kiwi to dry it and really take form it takes quite a while)
7. then you add another layer

This is the end for Coating, Remember... just doing this step within one night is pointless because you need your kiwi to dry fully so that it will really look nice and shiny after you polish it

Polishing
Steps
1. Remember polishing is the totally opposite of coating
2. use your cloth and absorb more water (make it damp) and a little kiwi (1 time should be enough)
3. After that go round the coated area( your shoe cap, sides, and back)
4. do it slowly, using stregth is useless... slowly go in a circular motion until it slowlys become shiny,
5. Continue until the whole boots is shiny
THE END

Some of you may have other methods which you feel might be better, by all means use them ^^
However remember that liquid kiwi is not allowed.
Also coat your boots daily, it requires quite a number of layers of coating before your boots can shine nicely. Roughly spend 10-20 minutes every day to coat. Or you can be like me, Coat from 8-10 however its only during commercial break :P (meaning i am watching TV and only coating during breaks)

Hi to all!!!!

Alright, i wun be coming down during the NDP and also the last training this wednesday (6 Aug). So, just wanna give u people some reminder when you guys are doing the parade.

1. Make sure you coordinate with ur row (GLANCE to the left and right to ensure the straightness)
2. REMEMBER to March 90, 45.
3. When u people sedia, PLEASE kindly lift up your legs to 90 degree and BANG!
4. Dont u ever move in the parade
5. Pandan Kekenan properly.
6. Uniform please be in tip top!
7. Turn at a POINT when u r belok-ing.

Other CIs will be there, i will tell them to help me take note and make sure all of u do it. If not the UPCOMING promotion test (most slightly will be on 22 Aug for those taking LCP to SGT and 2nd or 3rd class) will minus marks from there. HAHA...

OK. Pre-test and revision team (Cadet Leader) please arrange some revision test for them for the upcoming promotion test. If you wan to know the syllabus please kindly come and sms me and ask for it. I expect a lot of passer this upcoming promotion test so please revise your drills all this. Pre- Test and revision team, please dont slack! TRAIN THEM after the national day parade week. No time to waste liao....

For those going to take SSGT or 1st class, u will be trained by the CIs, but when train u all will depends. ur promotion test will be on 28 Aug (thurs). So please train urself at home.

okie. for those who miss the previous theory test. U guys will be taking the test on 22 aug tgt with the unit promotion test. (note: theory test include campcraft badge test too) if you did not take any of the test, please come on 22 aug to take tt test. This is the last chance u can take the test.

Final Warning

I hope all of u understand that if u did not turn up for training we will mark your attendance is zero for that day. Even if you have reason on why u didnt come, but did not tell miss chan or any other Teacher Officer the reason, u will be marked zero for that day.

The procedure you should strictly follow if you cannot make it for training
1. Find miss chan and tell her the reason, she will then pass you a piece of paper
2. bring that piece of paper to any of the Sec. 3s, they will mark ur attendance as absent with reason

If u did not tell miss chan or any teacher officer, means u will not have any permitted excuse from them and will not get that piece of paper, therefore your attendance will be zero.

I dont wanna hear any reason from you people after that day training saying that u have this or u have that. U should have a sense of responsibility and look for the teacher officer yourself.

Attendance for 23 July 08 is not very good for ALL LEVELS! What happen?! Promotion test and National Day Parade is coming up, buck up on ur drills and come for training! The CIs will be revising their marking standard for promotion test as the standard we set is just too high, which means to say there will be more passer than failure in the upcoming promotion tests which will be scheduled one after national day (around mid august) the other one during september or after you EOY examinations!

Theory test for those who failed for campcraft and did not attend previous theory test, the test will be scheduled around mid-august too.

Welcome to the Channel News Outram , i lian an, the 1 that will report today news... :)

First today is the 102th birthday for Outram secondary school...(isn't it great???)

The hardworking Outramian wake up early in the morning to climb the YORK HILL...(especially the NPCC guys from UG)

At around 730am, inspector from the Outram Npcc came down to help and give moral support...such a GOOD inspector they are...HAHAHAHA...they help the npcc member to check their uniform and try to arrange them in the best formation they could even through they had already planned properly beforehand...

Finally, 840+++am...

The handsome and pretty NPCC member heard the command from the APC...The not so handsome but smart commander of NPCC contigent gave the march off command. So not bad...

They stood there for around 5 to 10 mins to wait for the VIP to come...

As u can notice, this is not the NPCC. It is the BB. spot mistake???

Y are they only 4 RANK???what had happen to them???

As u all know that tmr is NPCC service day n all NPCC members must go to the opposite blk to give out small booklets to the old folks telling them to be wary of crime etc. So tmr attire will be Half u coat boots instead of Full u since we ar having Speech day on Saturday. Fall in at the blue box at 1.30pm then Mr Azri will give a briefing on whats going to happen n wat u should do.

ways to polish your boot
Hold out the kiwi cloth in your master hand and take your index finger on your right and wrap a section of the cloth around your finger. Then dip the cloth around your finger in the water until the cloth is moist. Then lightly dab the cloth in the tin of polish, but you don't want to end up with a big gob of polish. Little amounts of polish work better. Then rub the polish on the cloth onto the boot in small circular motions, not pressing too hard. Lighter is better. After the polish seems to have been rubbed into the leather, pick up the boot and bring it to your face and breath onto the leather and continue rubbing the cloudy portion of the leather to further work the polish into the leather. repeat the process for several time until it is shiny.

saturday (5 july 08) there will be a training which is HALF UNIFORM COAT BOOT. so please do not give lame excuse that you do not know what to bring. make sure that i wan't to see that your boot still remember crystal clean.

punishment : 5push up per item ( mutiply together with your squad mates )

as npcc is a discipline uniform group and we hope that you will can have be more responsibility in your attire. you should treat your attire just like the respect that you want people to treat you.

I have receive complain from CIs that you guys have been slow in your movement. is it you people are soo heavy that you cannot run or issit you people are already in ur 80s? Even some 80 yr old ppl can run faster than you people.

So, as the policy, procedure and directive head. Under Chapter on Discipline if any of you find out to have slow movement, we will actually execute the Changing Parade punishment. If you do not wish to run like mad going in and out of toilet in your different attires, please do move fast! However, according to the Chapter on Welfare, this punishment is not for Cadet Leaders to execute, so Cadet Leaders please dont try to act smart and execute this punishment.

I dont think you people know why we must move fast. I will explain to you people this saturday. Last training changing parade is a small one. soo dont try us or test the water coz, you people may actually find that CIs are still evil in punishment. I doesnt mean to torture you, but to let you learn. There is still a lot of things you people do not noe why we must do this and not that, and some of u prefer to quit. Well, quitting NPCC is just a method to avoid it. Others prefer to stay on to discover more fun and will get to understand NPCC more in years to come.

So let this post be a warning. CIs do have fun side and evil side.

Please take note that all Sec. 4 who are going to step down, unless you are going to Sec. 5, you all supposed to return all uniform buttons, ranks, badges, formation sign and belt. If any of you did not return this to NPCC, NPCC may take legal actions against you.

From this year on, no cadets should be keeping the rank, buttons, badges, belt and formation sign once they have step down. This is because all of these are properties of NPCC.

Let me warn you again, on 19 July, once after your Speech Day Parade, it will be a Passing out Parade for Sec. 4. Please do prepare your passing out parade (how you going to do it.) After that contact lian an sir about it.

After the whole parade, sec 4s are supposed to take out their rank, badges and buttons and formation sign and belt on the spot (not for those who going Sec. 5)
